Hi, I'm Shai Sivan.

I grew up in Tel Aviv, Israel and for a living I convert artist's dreams to sound, if you wish - I am the photographer, light man, sound man and editor of a movie.

About 3 years ago, I relocated to Zurich, Switzerland with my life partner Beverly and I started looking  for the best way to continue bringing music and creative ideas of artists to the maximum. This is the reason I founded "Velohouse Studios" -  A high-end recording and mixing studio in the heart of Zurich city, where I am working with international artists and keep looking for new creative challenges every day.

In the past 15 years, I recorded and mixed independent and alternative projects along with A-list artists from the Israeli music industry including Ishay Ribo, Aviv Geffen, Dudu Tassa (And The Kuwaitis, Jarak Qaribak with Jonny Greenwood), Lola Marsh, Blackfield, Alex Clare, Amir Daddon, Shlomo Artzi, Shlomi Shabbat, Nathan Goshen, Keren Peles, Amir Benayoun, Ilay Botner And The Outdoor Kids, Mosh Ben Ari, Mark Eliyahu, Riff Cohen, Daniella Spector, The 5 seasons of The Voice Of Israel TV show and the Eurovision Song Contest 2019 in Tel Aviv.

In 2019 I've won the Israeli academy award (Ophir Award) on soundtrack design for the movie Red Fields (Mami),

for which I recorded all vocals live on the set and mixed the music.
